It’s no wonder why folks venture into the forests in droves looking for them around this time of year. More and more, folks are turning to the internet to help advise on exactly when and where to find wild mushrooms.

If you aren’t able to find a fresh version, take solace in the fact that the depth of flavor and meaty elements of these mushrooms are known for are well-maintained in dehydrated versions. These dried mushrooms have proven to be suited for almost any recipe that calls for fresh porcinis.
