Crisp, clean, and high in trace minerals, coarse sea salt is great for use in seasoning fresh pasta water, ground or crushed with red meats over the fire, delicate white fish fillets, or your favorite spice rubs.  Our coarse sea salt is ideal for use in grinders due to its large grain size and lower moisture content than finer salts such as Fleur de sel (who would want to grind Fleur de sel anyways, such could be considered blasphemy), or table salts.   

Why is coarse sea salt great for use in grinders?

Coarse sea salts do not cake like their smaller counterparts.  The warm sun has evaporated just the right amount of moisture so this kosher course sea salt will work great in your salt grinder year after year without caking.
