Vanilla Cuts for Making Pure Vanilla Extract
All-natural vanilla beans cuts and pieces for use in making vanilla extract. Feeling like making vanilla extract but not wanting to do the work? Try these real vanilla bean cuts and take the work out of the process. Simply add vanilla cuts to a container, cover with the recommended amount of alcohol and shake once a week for 60-90 days. Once fully aged, filter and bottle your vanilla extract. What's left is a beautiful, fragrant and flavorful vanilla extract for all your baking needs.
These vanilla cuts are about .5 inch to .75 inch bean pieces from whole pods that just did not make the cut (no pun intended). The pods were rejected from a gourmet classification because they were split, or broken but are perfectly suitable for making vanilla extract. Cut vanilla is a wonderfully economic choice for making vanilla extract at home.

Mixed cuts, vanilla beans
Very happy w all transaction! Quick way to jump start gift holiday batch. Bean parts were nice and oily!
EXTRACT PERFECTION
I ordered the vanilla bean cuts to start extract for my son for his birthday.. well I ordered extra to start my second jar. The cut jar are darker than my one from c different company. and smell fansastic after just 3 weeks already. The other has been going for 3 months. I will definitely order more , and soon.
it'll take 90 days or so...
I'm making vanilla sugar; all on my own! I'm pretty sure I can do this. and every Wednesday I shake the jar everything is in, just to roil it up!
Cuts
I have had a standing order for the cuts for a good while & have enjoyed the extract they produce. When I first began ordering them, they were described as being a blend of Madagascar, Ugandan & PNG beans. I bottle my vanilla for selling at craft shows so have to label contents. I’ve just realized that the beans vary depending on what falls into the ‘cuts’ category so I now have no way to know how to accurately label the origin of the beans. Again, the cuts make great extract - my 3 star review is strictly based on the absence of knowing which beans are in each order.
Quick fulfillment - great product
I orders 16 ounces of vanilla bean cuts that came in good condition and I have used for extract, paste and sugar. The only thing I regret is not paying attention that this particular product was mixed origin. I know they have a single origin option and I would have preferred that for my extracts. However, the beans I received looked great and I have no complaints about the quality.
