I'm a convert

I've been making my own vanilla extract for over a decade and used to buy my beans based on reviews at a Infamous Global seller. Was never sure what I would get. Then I found this company! The beans were beautiful! Fragrant, moist but not too moist, easy to cut open to expose the seeds and each Bean was six to seven inches long. I'm a happy extract maker! 💝💃🥳

Frequently Asked Questions

Cocoa powder is derived from cocoa beans, which are the seeds of the cacao tree. The process of making cocoa powder involves several steps. First, the cocoa beans are harvested and fermented to develop their flavor. After fermentation, the beans are dried, roasted, and ground into a paste. This paste is then pressed to extract cocoa butter, leaving behind the cocoa solids, which are further ground into the fine powder we know as cocoa powder.
There are two main types of cocoa powder: natural cocoa powder and Dutch-processed cocoa powder. Natural cocoa powder is acidic and has a lighter color, while Dutch-processed cocoa powder is treated with an alkaline solution, resulting in a darker color and milder flavor.
Cocoa powder is commonly used in baking to add chocolate flavor to cakes, cookies, and brownies. Additionally, cocoa powder can be used in beverages such as hot chocolate or a chocolate smoothie. Its rich and intense chocolate taste makes it a popular choice in both sweet and savory dishes.
Cocoa powder is rich in antioxidants and contains minerals such as iron, magnesium, and zinc. However, it's essential to be mindful of added sugars in cocoa products, as excessive sugar intake can offset these health benefits.
Like many food products, cocoa powder does have a shelf life. While it doesn't necessarily expire in the way perishable items do, it can lose its flavor and potency over time. Proper storage in a cool, dark place in an airtight container can help extend its shelf life. Checking for any off odors or changes in color can be indicators of whether the cocoa powder is still suitable for use.

The cacao was great! The been arrived much latter and was way too much to pay for one bean. I thought it was a bundle of maybe 15 oe 30 beans judging by the picture.
