Very good vanilla

Vanilla seems good but it has only been a couple weeks since starting my extract. So far I am liking the rich smell and color but won't know for sure how great this is for about 6 months.

Vanilla Extract in the making

I hate leaving reviews for products I haven’t really tested… I can say the package came as advertised. I got the Ugandan beans because we are a Ugandan-American family! They smelled delightful as I opened them. I bought vodka from Sam’s Club and they are currently soaking in it in my pantry. Homemade extract for Christmas gifts this year. I kept the packaging and filled it with sugar, hoping it would soak up the remaining vanilla bean residue.

Ecuadorian vanilla beans

The beans are lovely, plump and moist. The vanilla at only 4 weeks is dark and smells wonderful. It won’t be ready for a while yet but looks to be exceptional.
