Our promise to you when buying from our shop

We want you to be fully confident each and every time you order you place at Slofoodgroup. If you are not fully satisfied with any part of your purchase or order, let us know.  Our customer service team will work with you to understand your concerns and offer solutions to make it right. We dedicated to providing the absolute best in class for products and service and we would love to earn your business.  

A return and refund policy that make sense

 General return policy for herbs, spices and dried products: If you are unhappy with a product that you purchased from SloFoodGroup Spice Company for any reason, simply let us know within 30 days. We will replace it or provide you with a full refund for the purchase price, back to your original payment method within 48 hours of your return, excluding weekends and holidays. Slofoodgroup will also cover the shipping cost to return the items to us. All returns must be unused, unopened and returned and received in good order. If a product is opened but unused a product refund will be issued upon inspection and disposal. The return of product for proper disposal and inspection is required. We cannot accept returns for custom orders such as custom packaging.  Returns cannot be accepted on products outside of this period due to improper handling and storage. Please always store your products with care. 

Return policy for fresh truffles and perishable products: Fresh truffles are not eligible for a 30 day return policy and all sales for fresh truffles are final. If there is any damage or issue related to a fresh truffle order, it must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Any return granted for fresh truffle products must be returned within 24 hours, in good order including but not limited to returning the product chilled in the same manner in which the truffles were originally delivered. Failure to properly return a fresh truffle order or ship the product back within 24 hours will result in the voiding of a customers return and refund eligibility.

For items that have not been returned and a replacement has been issued, Slofoodgroup LLC reserves the right to charge, bill, and or engage in legal remedies in order resolve any outstanding monies owed.  


Return of items that are not the direct result of damage, or defects

If an item is returned due to customer errors such as incorrect shipping address, too much of an item ordered or late cancelation of items or subscriptions that have processed or already shipped, Slofoodgroup reserves the right and will charge a return processing and stocking fee up to but not exceeding 50.00$ and or 3.5% of the items value, plus shipping. This fee is solely associated with the cost of returning the item, restocking the item, credit card processing fees etc. Slofoodgroup LLC will not honor any return request outside of the 30 day written policy.
