Yields: 8-12 slices 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom (For best results, we recommend grinding your own right before adding to the recipe. 
  • 3 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup mild olive oil
  • ¾ cup freshly orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest  
  • Powdered sugar, to dust
  • Orange slices, to garnish 

Procedure:

  1. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with orange slices. Slice and serve the cake.
