Great quality dried porcinis
Good quality product, well packaged and easy to store. Cooked up nicely in my mushroom pasta sauce. I will definitely buy again, (although I ordered too much so I’ll share with family and spread the word)
Porcini mushrooms: manna from heaven
As soon as I received these dried porcini, I thought I was back in Liguria. The quality is the best I have found since we were last in Italy. I also reuse the soaking water and use it for many recipes that call for broth. Nothing is better than what my husband and I call "porcini juice." Try it.
Tasty!
These are good quality dried porcini. Fresh are hardly available here in northern California so slow food group is a lifesaver.
Mushrooms
It was a great choice! The best quality on the market dry porcini mushrooms! Thank you!
We grew up with porcini mushrooms. I use them, especially, when I make a roast beef. They cook in the oven, with the roast and a whole onion, and the dripping become a delicious sauce, which is poured over rigatoni. I also use the in other dishes, even in my eggs for breakfast. They are hard to find in SC so they are convenient online. And they are so clean, right out of the package.
