Cinnamon Chai Protein Balls

Protein Balls with Spiced Chai

Ingredients

  • 2 cups soft dates, pit removed

  • 1 1/2 cup cashews or blanched almonds

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

  • pinch of ground cardamom

  • pinch of ground cloves

  • pinch of flake sea salt

    Procedure

    1. Place the nuts and spices into a food processor and pulse into a fine powder.

    2. Add the soft dates and pulse for another 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is clumping together in the processor. Add the protein powder and flake sea salt and pulse until combined.

    3. Roll the mixture into equal-sized balls and serve right away or store in an airtight container.
