Slofoodgroup LLC’s Shipping  and Delivery Policy and Procedures 

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing and handling times:

All orders received in our shop are processed within 1-2 business days excluding weekends and holidays. For orders received on weekends and holidays your order will be processed on the next business day. For items that are listed on PRESALE, these items will ship within 24-48 hours of that item arriving at our warehouse and the presale ending. An email confirmation is sent with all orders to inform you of your tracking and delivery information. If you did not receive this information, please first check your junk email box to ensure your email did not end up there. If you are unable to locate this information, please send us and email or give our office a call Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Eastern standard time. 

Slofoodgroup LLC does not process orders on weekends or holidays in order to provide our teams and their families with much needed time off and quality of life. Carriers may deliver parcels on weekends or holidays but please check tracking and visit carrier websites for any updates or changes to their policies. 

Special notes and delivery instructions: While Slofoodgroup will do its best to convey your requests and delivery instructions to carrier, we do not guarantee the carrier will adhere to or follow such instructions. Shipping carriers do not offer this functionality or service. It is the customers responsibility to convey their delivery instructions to their local carriers including but not limited to the following: delivery times, hours, special locations, gate codes etc.  Customers should contact USPS, FEDEX or UPS to communicate. 

Incorrect shipping addresses: It is the customers responsibility to provide valid and accurate shipping information. Failure to provide accurate and valid shipping details can result in delays, mis-deliveries, or cancelation of a customers order. For items that are returned due to an invalid shipping address, Slofoodgroup LLC, reserves the right to assess and charge a return process fee. If you have provided an incorrect address, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible via email or phone call so we can assist in updating your information. If your item has already shipped, we are unable to alter the shipping information while items are in transit. 

Peak Season and Holiday Transit times: August through December is peak shipping time in the United States. During this period, carriers do have increased demand for their services and parcels can be delayed. Slofoodgroup LLC encourages customers to think ahead by one or even two weeks to ensure packages arrive on time for those special holidays. Due to the increased demand, and lack of control over carriers and their operations, Slofoodgroup LLC does not warrant or guarantee any delivery time frame. If an enhanced shipping service is paid for when checking out, Slofoodgroup LLC will assist in filing a delivery service promise request when and where applicable. For further details, please refer to the chosen carriers website for their terms and conditions as most carriers tend to suspend or alter their delivery guarantees during peak transit times. 

Shipping rates and delivery estimates - all cart generated delivery times and estimates are solely provided by the following carriers: USPS, FEDEX, UPS, and DHL. Slofoodgroup does not warrant or guarantee any estimated delivery time frame. All estimated delivery times are solely provided by the carrier who is responsible for any delivery service promises.

*Slofoodgroup does not guarantee any shipping service delivery time frames. For shipping and delivery service guarantees, please visit the shipping providers website.  Delays during peak shipping and holiday seasons do occur. Please plan accordingly.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Free domestic shipping does include P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

All customers will receive tracking details and shipping confirmation upon their order being processed. If you have not received your tracking number, please check your spam folder or contact our customer service team via the contact us page. Customers must provide a valid email or cell phone number in order to receive these updates. 

Slofoodgroup LLC reserves the right to change, or modify our shipping policy, free shipping and other shipping related procedures based on market dynamics without notice at any time. 


International Shipping Policy

Carrier shipping time frames: United States postal service - the average shipping time for USPS international service is 6-20 business days. 30 business days is required before a claim on a lost package can be filed with the carrier.

For all other express carriers, UPS, FEDEX, DHL average transit times are generated at check out and solely an estimate. Transit times may vary based on customers failure to properly clear an item and resolve any local import duties and taxes. Slofoodgroup LLC cannot assist with any brokerage services, or act as a broker. 

 Customs, duties, and taxes for international shipments

Slofoodgroup LLC is not responsible for any clearance, customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). Please contact your local customs authorities regarding country specific taxes, duties and fees on imported items. Many items shipped internationally may require clearance and proper filing in the destination country. Slofoodgroup LLC is not a licensed broker and we do not provide this service. 


Slofoodgroup LLC is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping process. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods, if possible please take pictures for evidence, This will assist in the claim filing in expediting the process. Slofoodgroup LLC will file the claim on your behalf and replace any damaged or lost items upon completion of investigation. Please allow up to 72 business hours for this to occur beginning the following business day after reporting. 

Returns of unclaimed international parcels, failure to clear via local customs, collect or failure to pay taxes and duties related to clearance

Slofoodgroup LLC will not refund any shipping charge related to unclaimed, unpaid, or failure to pay local import customs taxes and duties. The only refund that will be granted is product charge, if the product is returned to our facility. It is the buyers responsibility to check any local customs taxes or duties prior to placing an international order. Please do so with care. 

Slofoodgroup LLC does offer international shipping at cost to international customers via the following service providers: USPS, DHL, FEDEX, and UPS.
