How To Use Vanilla Beans:
with a pairing knife or knife of choice, split the bean directly down the center, lengthwise. Using the blade of the knife, scrape the inside of the bean to remove the vanilla caviar (vanilla seeds). Use as much or as little vanilla bean as desired. The remaining Vanilla pod can be use to make vanilla extract, vanilla sugar, or a number of vanilla related products.
